Fine Art Degree Show – Exhibition Starts Friday 5th June

Photos of Annaghmore’s Centenary Gala Ball

My commissioned drawing ‘Annaghmore Football Club’ was up for auction, amongst many other lucrative items, in the Gala Ball at the Glenavon Hotel, which was part of Annaghmore’s centenary celebrations. The night was a great success, with over 450 people attending the event and the auction raising a lot of money for the football club.

Commission: Bovine Intervention

I have just completed my latest, and largest (20 inches x 20 inches), commission which I named ‘Bovine Intervention‘. My customer’s choice of subject matter was inspired by the work of the Irish painter, Eoin O’Connor. He has painted several close-ups of cows which create a very unusual, yet interesting, perspectives that enlarge the nose and head of the cow and miniaturise the cow’s body into the background. These cows are conveyed through cartoon-like forms and vibrant colours resulting in very striking pieces of art.
