I made a new video which shows my small collection of fine art photographs that were taken during my visit to Paris last year. The photographs include the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, Winged Victory of Samothrace (in the Louvre), Eiffel Tower and the Seine river.

I am taking part in a group exhibition called ‘Perhaps?’ at Catalyst Arts, Belfast, which opens on Monday 26th May and runs for 4 days until Thursday 29th May. I will be showing my latest photographic artwork which conveys the mystery, insecurity and peculiarity of night-time. These pieces were part of my final project for the end of my 2nd year in Fine Art at university. My work was heavily influenced and inspired by the dramatic photography of Gregory Crewdson, Ryan Schude and David LaChapelle.
I hope you can make it to the exhibition to see and enjoy my latest work, as well as the wide variety of work created by other students in my course.

A surreal dreamlike scene of a tree flourishing on a floating island. The Nature of Dreams reflects both the mysterious architecture of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that occur subconsciously in the mind while sleeping, and a Utopian world where nature is free from mankind’s destruction.
The artwork was made from a series of photographs that were digitally edited and blended together with Photoshop.

A commissioned pencil drawing of a Golden Labrador called Phoebe, for my friend Olivia as her Christmas gift for her Father. I used a photograph of the dog and faded the background out in a circular fade, making the dogs face and expression the focal point of the drawing.

I tend to watch and read a lot of Photoshop tutorials to improve my techniques and learn some new ones a long the way. In this case, I was looking at some guides for how to make a ‘Floating Island’. Taking some of those instructions and combining them with my prior Photoshop abilities, I began working on my own creation.
