2013New Artwork: ‘Winged Victory of Samothrace’
This is my latest artwork, ‘Winged Victory of Samothrace’. A photograph looking up at the Winged Victory of Samothrace, also called the Nike of Samothrace. It is a marble structure of the Greek goddess Nike (Victory) which is prominently displayed at the Louvre, Paris.
I traveled to Paris in June of this year with my girlfriend. We only had 4 days in a city that is full of attractions, activities, museums and things to see. I visited the most famous landmarks and must see attractions, taking 100s of photos in the process. This photograph is one of them. I hope you like it.
